I suspect there may just be a driver or two that is in need of porting
to Tiger. It's not hardware-specific beyond that, I don't think.
It's also too bad that there aren't more "generic" A-D/D-A devices, such
as the Mbox, and the DigiXXX series (or, for example, the Edirol UA-20
that I got for use with GarageBand). I'd love to have one device that
does most everything I want (e.g. something in a mid-range DigiXXX), but
that works both with ProTools and with something like GarageBand as
well.
The UA-20 is only stereo in or out, and I'd like to be able to drop in
more simultaneous live tracks than that at a time (which takes something
like a DigiXXX box instead, and significantly more bucks).
Ah well, enough whining... :-)

Thanks for the tip. I'm not clear if Digi001 will work with
software other than
ProTools:they don't say on their site. Also, it's not compatible
with Tiger I
guess. It seems odd to me that hardware is hardwired to specific
software. but
I this unit is worth considering.
