I did insert it many times; even alternating it back
and forth with rev A & B and rev A consistly worked
whereas Rev B did not. Strange.
There's not much to go wrong with those ROM modules.

But my I suggest, that you try resetting OpenFirmware whenever
swapping the ROM chips. I don't 'member them and have them yet
on another drive not available now, but something along the
lines of; booting up holding the Cmd+Opt+O+F keys and at the OF
prompt type: reset-nvram and hit return, then type: reset-all
and hit return, then quite likely your Mac should reboot and
hopefully all will then be good to go. I am hoping that one
of our Gurus will now fill Us in on those needed OF Command
corrections. Hope that this helps in some small way.
