What gives here? I've found nothing online that indicates that the CR-587
should not work.
It reads CDs, both commercial and homemade, just fine, and the OS 9.2
Install boot disk works in it.
According to a quick search a CR-587 is a CD-ROM drive. I've seen
System Profiler report "supports CD burning" for CD-ROMs before, no
idea why. Maybe it supports it but just doesn't do it.
