That procedure assumes a 3-1/2" zip which is supplied in a 5-1/4" carrier,
which OEM drives are NOT so supplied.

The result of the procedure is removal of the 5-1/4" carrier, and
installation of the
drive into the Zip bay, using the fasteners which are provided.

The B&W's lower bay is intended for a Zip, and for a Zip, only.

Correct.

If you have an OEM Zip w/out the 5 1/4" carrier skip step 2 (removing the
drive from the carrier) in the above link. And then you will need to find four
mounting screws for the OEM Zip.

When I installed a used OEM Zip 100 (obtained from the swap list) in my B & W
I had no screws for the Zip 100. I borrowed two CD-ROM mounting screws from
the drive carrier above the Zip (one from the left side and one from the right)
and used them to mount the Zip (also one screw on the left and one on the
right). Not the best idea but can get you buy until you can find or purchase
the
four missing screws.

And if you want the B & W to look stock, you will also need to find a B & W
Zip bezel. I believe the bezel is mostly cosmetic, the zip drive will work
without it. Once again the swap list came through for my B & W bezel.
