Dear Glen,

Yes, I have a blue & white tower. A "Mac" friend tried to install the Zip Internal 250 for me & after he got the face plate off (which is just below the disk drive drawer), he said it was too large to fit the opening. It was attached to a platform mounting. I do work on my Mac (well my old 6500), but have not done much on the B&W G3/G/4 so took his word for it. Perhaps I should explore this further? I would like a 250 (even saw a 750 unit at Fry's this week). I will also explore the Adaptec card, too. Thanks so much.

I upgraded the CPU to a G-4 500, added memory & added another hard drive. It has room for 3 hard drives & I now have two in it. It also has a slot for an internal Zip Drive, BUT the ones available now (250s & 750s) will not fit the zip drive slot (too large) My question is, does anyone know where I can get an
Omega Zip Internal 100 for it?

I have an external Zip 100 in perfect shape, but it was daisy chained on my old Mac to a SCZI port & they told me at the electronic store (Fry's) that there was no kind of connector that would allow you to connect a SCZI device to a
USB hub or port. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I assume you have a Blue and White tower and not an IMac?

The form factor for the IDE ZIP 250 is the same as the Zip 100. I replaced
the ZIP 100 with a 250 in my G4 tower and could have done in my B & W.

If you want to use the external SCSI ZIP you just need a low end internal SCSI card. The Adaptec 2930 which I believed shipped with the B & W and can be had on the LEM SWAP list for $20 or less. Good luck --glen (digest mode)
