Are you on the Mac UK list and the swap list. Those may be your best
sources for low priced components. Shipping from the USA can be
expensive but you could always specify your location up front.

As others have advised keeping the costs low will be more effective in
bang for buck terms as a highly upgraded old machine
(from personal experience) impresses no one but yourself and can cost
more than a newer (used) more capable machine for the same money.

B&Ws are old enough that all of the goodies have been bought and used
by someone who is selling them on the swap list.
Ebay is OK but keep your bids low. Another part will come along soon.
Don't pay more than LEM swap prices.
