Dana. I have a patched DVD that removes the installer limitations.

It is actually for use on the 9a466 beta of Leopard but works on the final too. 
It replaces the osinstall.mpkg.

It requires you to make an read/write image of the DVD, replace the file then 
reburn it DVD. But it works.

I installed Leopard on my PowerBook G4 400mhz Titanium with it no problems.
