Usually, I get the same / similar Speed Test results, also have  
verizon dsl.

But

Tonight I am getting 544 / 126 ... and everything downloaded is slow.  
I was going to call verizon, because I think it's on their end ...  
having solved a similar service problem last year by them  
volunteering to switch the IP address to one that is not being used  
as much ... but they're quite agitated these days ...

Have you tried moving your ethernet cable to a different port, if  
you're connected hard-wired to the DSL modem/router? Sometimes a  
multiport router will acquire a bad port ... or so I've experienced.

Although, since your Down/Up speeds look alright, I'm not sure you're  
connected to a failing ethernet port.
