I just upgraded from a 1560 Cannon printer to a refurbished MP530 when the old printer needed a new print head ($42.00 + shipping) for $47.00 + Shipping and a CLI... a great deal to say the least and it's performance is simply great!
By the way, Cannon has had a long, close and fruitful relation ship with Apple dating back to the very beginning... good enough reason to stick with them... besides their ink and paper supplies are reasonable.
