I agree... reminds me of 1950's view of what futuristic things were
supposed to look like. I think mine is quite pretty too... it's the
one between the blue and white g3 and the quicksilver..

I bought mine new at the end of '98 or '99, got it set up and have
never turned it off... It cycles between sleep mode and usage and has
done so for ten years now. Great machine... I have definately gotten
my money's worth ($2500 new). I have recently updated my system
software to 10.4 and have gotten all the complementary updates.... I
think this computer at it's 400Mhz speed is just too slow for this
modern software. Back in it's day it was lightening fast and now, in
it's old age, seem's to take a little longer to accomplish routine
tasks (like grandma!) But I guess it's still acceptable. I'll keep
mine in good shape for my son to use when he's old enough. Thats the
great thing about Mac's... they are almost timeless. I couldn't
imagine try to use a ten year old Windoze machine
