I believe I found my answer in another G3-G5 thread (Thanks to Dan):

... if you've installed LCC Scroll Enhancer, then you've added a VERY  
buggy evil
InputManager to your system -- that loads into EVERYTHING.  So the
first thing I would recommend, is that you rip it out...

To do this, you have to manually remove *ALL* of LCC Scroll Enhancer:

/Library/Application Enhancers/LCC Scroll Enhancer.ape/
/Library/Application Support/Logitech/LCC Scroll Enhancer.bundle
/Library/InputManagers/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax

The .ape might not be there, if you're using a more up to date  
version of LCC.

After removing the above, go check your user ~/Library/ folder for  
the same.

Download and install Spark and MouseZoom from versiontracker:
