ADB = Apple Data Buss, and yes that is a serial connection.
[ADB as opposed to RS232, which is also a serial protocol.]

I have ben trying 'Stylewriter's and LaserWriters. Nothing successful  
yet.

But I am glad to hear it has worked for others.
