There were several PCI video cards with Apple DB15 (8 over 7 pin)
connectors available with the G3 desktops. Depending on the main logic
board revision (A, B or C) the built-in video was either Rage II or
Rage Pro, both had Apple DB15 connectors. Additionally, the CTO/BTO
MiniTower also provided an optional PCI video card. The IXMicro 3D and
TwinTurbo cards, which had both VGA and Apple DB15 monitor connectors.
Although, as I recall, only one of the connectors (monitor) could be
used at a time. There were also the Xclaim VR and 3D, as well as the
Nexus GA (3D Rage Pro) series of ATI cards for the Mac which had the
requisite connector. The early retail Mac Radeon cards have VGA and
composite/S-video, but shipped with VGA to Apple DB15 adapters, like
the one Bruce pointed out. You'll have to decide which is cheaper;
card, or adapter.
