Do NOT rely on this person's advice. No your license is NOT your eprom, and if you go to the Apple store they will gladly sell you a copy of OS X 10.5, and I'm 99% sure that's ALL they'll sell you. You won't be able to get a copy of 10.4 from them. As with most computer software the license is either the installer disk or official paperwork that states you are in legal possession of one license to use this software, and outside of a corporate environment, you're not going to see the latter.
