I don't know if Apple is ignoring it or not able to reproduce it.  I've 
run into that hang a few times and all I've ever had to do was to reset 
the computer.  If Apple can't reliably reproduce the bug they can't very 
well fix it.  I suspect in at least some cases it's due to either some 
file corruption or the effects of third party software (or both).
