Well, your answer is right there in their docs. Safari is NOT Explorer  
5.0 or above, Netscape 6.0 or above, Firefox or Opera 5.0 or above.  
Ergo they make it just do the basic stuff.

Enable the Debug menu (it's called the Develop menu in Safari 4) and  
change your User Agent to one of the supported browsers.

If it works, inform the Fastmail FM people; maybe they'll add Safarit  
to the list of supported browsers.
