A few documents here for Umax owners.
I have the 2400. I also previously bought SilverfastAI for another pupose but I 
also use it with my scanner. In combo with Vuescan I get good results from my 
Umax 2400. I bought the pro version of Vuescan which I think from memory set me 
back $25.
