I bought a used 500 MHz Pismo with a dead hard drive, and I'm thinking of replacing it with a solid state drive. I don't need one that's very big - 16 GB or so should be fine.
I'm not very familiar with SSD's and it seems like it could be tricky to find one that's a reasonable price and works well. I'm hoping that some people here have enough experience with them to make some recommendations. Conventional laptop drives seem to me to be less than durable, but I'm also open to recommendations for one that is. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
