No. The only place color weirdness can come in is in:

1) scanning, but the scanner works OK on the other computer.
2) Scan acquisition or post processing.

It's a USB scanner, usb issues will not result in 'weird colors' but  
complete garbage, therefore by elimination it's the driver or the  
color profile. Since the driver's been re-installed...
