No choice whatsoever in the matter since video encoding is entirely
CPU-bound, the solution is to run it on a faster CPU.
I will add this need, along with video editing, on the list of reasons
that will push me to get a newer mac. When the list reach a reasonable
number, I will be on the market. Thanks, Bruce, for confirming my
suspicion.
