The iMac speed and the iBook speed would be restricted to the slowest unit 
which would be the iBook if you use a router. How slow? I don't really know, 
but I think on the net it's not a problem.


  The router you mention is b/g speed I think, so depening on the iBook card 
both machines could run g speed. Some others on the list are very well versed 
in the speed department.
