Yes, this is 10.4.11. I will try the safe boot. I'm still crazed about
what could have gone wrong, especially since the OS/machine was not used
prior after the fresh install. When you say logging in as a different
account will fix it, do you mean that if I created another admin
account, and then log back into the older account, the problem will be
gone? Or, do you mean create a new one and delete the old one, along
with the problem?
