Several minutes of my time and technical expertise.

The time of the 1700+ recipients to download the 145% larger messages.

The time of the 1700+ recipients to wade thru the noise to find the signal.

The $$$$ of the recipients that are on metered services.


Sorry, this is just a no-brainer to me. Wading thru badly formatted messages takes ALL the fun out of helping and learning on lists like this. And making this type of change to so large an audience, that would have *financial impact* on some of them is unconscionable -- especially when the point of doing so is to facilitate poster laziness.
