Is there a way to adjust the volume on files prior to burning them to DVD? I have some old VHS recordings of some classes/lessons I would like to convert to DVD, but the audio level in the original is quite low. Roxio's conversion setup says that you can not alter the sound levels, but recording stuff where it will be a major strain to pick up the audio every time I wish to view these disks seems to be a ridiculous choice with todays technology. Is there a better way to go than with Roxio's software and hardware? I want to create DVD's that I can play on any DVD player or computer/platform (that has a DVD player). I have Toast 10 platinum on my G5, but I also have a couple of Quick silvers and a few older and smaller Mac's too.

Bravo! Dana Except in Toast 6, I always select "Video", then on the left panel choose "DVD-Video from VIDEO_TS" This gives you the option of selecting NTSC or PAL, and in Toast 8 or later, you also have the option to compress to fit on a standard single-layer blank DVD, if your VIDEO_TS folder >4.7GB Ted -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
