I used the "C" key and then later, from your response, used the "Option" key. None worked. I can't get the DVD to boot. I'm worried now that I may have made things worse from that false start on that SATA channel that caused the machine to not boot. After that, it won't boot completely, period. And still won't. Any more ideas...
