True, but on my G3 B&W 350 MHz there wasn't any thermal paste. With these processors there isn't that much heat emission. My old 50 MHz Intel i486 also didn't use thermal paste, although it had a heatsink with a fan, what I would call: “loosly attached.” But back in the days this was normal. So, if there is none in the first place, there is nothing to reapply.
