No it will not 'just work' as there are no USB 3.0 drivers in OS X. LaCie has a driver for their devices, but it's intel-only. It's possible that it'll work as a USB2 device, but that's a lot of money to waste for more USB2 ports. Since Apple's no longer doing any PPC development, barring someone writing one from scratch there never will be a USB3.0 driver for PPC Macs. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
