CCC works just fine. After that, If you need to use the OS X Install Disk (for example to change an admin password), you will need to Reboot to get around the "Cannot Install on this Mac" message ... at least I think tat is what worked finally for me.

Or, you can have two (or more) partitions (or disks) on your G4, with 10.4
and 10.5 on different partitions/disks.

This is also what I have ... but you know, all the work I do now works fine on Leopard 10.5.8 ... hardly ever go back to Tiger and OS 9.

When I start using my M-Audio 2496 PCI card again, I will need to return to Tiger. M-Audio (AVID) never upgraded to Leopard ... at least not for Dual G4s like my Quicksilver I intend to use.
