I have 10.4 on my Sawtooth 350mhz G4. It will run 10.5 but no higher then that. Really, 867mhz is the minimum that you are suppose to run 10.4 on, 512 megs ram minimum too. If you have a 1ghz upgrade card for the cpu, really all you need to do is max out ram and it will run perfectly.
