OK, guys.
Have one of these 20-inch iMac(MB323LL/A) 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
It is supposed to come with a "Slot-loading 8x SuperDrive"
Question now is if "Slot-loading 8x SuperDrive" is enough specs
for me to get a new drive.
Will something like this UJ-825-C do?

Not sure. Physically it should fit, the issue is it the right
interface. Look in System Profiler, does the drive show up on the
ATA or SATA bus? That will be your guide. The rest is just mounting
bracket and connection concerns, which would be obviate by using a
bare drive of some sort. The drives are mostly universal, but each
computer manufacturer will attach their own connecting hardware and
platform to it.

The key is getting the right interface for your system and carefully
disassembling your existing one to reuse the apple-supplied bracket
and connector. I would think that the odds are extremely high that
yours is a SATA drive, which are pretty common.
