I've never heard that. My games Mac (a 7300) runs 9.1 and runs a wide variety of titles. 9.2.2, in fact, has a more advanced version of OpenGL, so it's required for some late 3D titles. > > > 2) How do I install TrueType and OpenType fonts on Mac OS 8.6? > > > > You need to convert them. Fortunately Len pointed out Print2PDF and I had forgotten that existed. For me, PICT is still more convenient, but there's a choice for you too. > I think StuffIt Expander is installed. Create a shortcut to StuffIt Expander and drag it onto the desktop, then drop files on the shortcut. Remember, OS 9 loves its type/creator codes, and all files have their own. > > Should work, depending on the drive, but I'd use Toast 5. This is another reason to use OS 9 -- the USB support is improved over 8.6. FAT32 will work on OS 9. -- ------------------------------------ personal: http://www.cameronkaiser.com/ -- Cameron Kaiser * Floodgap Systems * www.floodgap.com * [email protected] -- Drive defensively ... buy a tank. ------------------------------------------ -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
