I’ve got a G5 DVD that has an installer for 9.2.2 Classic Environment on it. The installer actually is a .dmg and requires 10.4 or so. BUT it results in a working 9.2.2 installation of the selected language. Gladly, german is one of the included languages. The question is: will this “update” an existing 9.0 installation? I would need to install under my 10.4.11 of course. Anyone ever tried such a procedure? > > About speed: the boot process of 9.0.4 is not as fast as the one of 8.6. > > 9.0 and 9.0.4 were, IMHO, poor releases. I’ll hopefully soon have the chance to compare 8.6 to 9.2.2… Thanks, Andreas aka Mac User #330250 -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
