I intend to keep the 8.6 partition.
So, I found that my 9.0 partition really was a 9.0 partition. I started
installing all the updates I have: 9.0.4 went fine.

But then, when I tried the 9.1 update, it complained about “Language Kit”
which apparently also is installed. The installer tells me to use the 9.1 CD
and update Mac OS to 9.1 together with the Language Kit, then it quits.

The problem is, I don’t have a 9.1 CD. I only have this updater.

So, at least for now, I’m stuck with 9.0.4.

About speed: the boot process of 9.0.4 is not as fast as the one of 8.6.

Anyone know how to solve this “Language Kit” thing?
