In essence, to allow GAIM to be put on a public system that would allow users to log into their favorite IM accounts without fear of their usernames/passwords being compromised or saved. This would also keep a fresh baseline GAIM setting in place that would prevent other users fromchanging GAIM settings making it less user friendly.
