Hi, Robin. Well, as for laying in an intercept to an enemy ship you would select the nearest degree to the one the enemy ship is at. For example at 5 degrees the enemy ship is almost do north. Your closest degree would be 0 so you would use 0. As far as attacking the game is turn based like a board game. You give all your ships instructions, move, and then the enemy takes a turn to do the same. After they are done then you can take another turn, move, and so on. Like chess etc the game is based on strategy. You need to think about your moves in advance, and think about where you want all your ships for the attack or defense.
