Hi Thomas,
It was way back on like version 1 of Mach 1, A gentleman changed all of my
sound files in Mach 1 using his voice for the game and distributed them via the
gamers list etc. I did not like the fact that the game was no longer the way
that I designed and produced it. Mach 1 uses TegoSoft rather than DirectX to
play the sounds. With TegoSoft I can check several of the aspects of the sound
files. Which I do and the game will not run if they do not match.
Some of my games allow one to change the sound files and others especially the
ones that are solely sound file based like Mach 1 do not let you change them.
