I have sound cds, and through private or public servers I get some also.
I also have a friend with loads of cds, and these are for games and things.
I get stuff off those however I can't really use copyright sounds in my things, 
I mostly listen to these for the hell of it.
I actually have found some of the sounds in libraries anyway.
