Thanks for that thoughtful post. You are absolutely right. I feel we
as developers could do more to help those who want to learn do so, but
I think we need some direction as how to make the learning process
easy enough for those struggling to understand. Not everyone is the
same, some learn easier than others, and I am not sure there is a one
size fits all solution to this problem.

For example, some people learn orally by having a teacher or
instructor talking them through the process step by step. Others, like
myself, can just pick up a book, read it, and master it no problems.
Others need to see a working example they can modify, play with,
deconstruct and reconstruct before they get it. So in order to help
someone we need to know what mode or modes would benefit the community
most.
