I'm sure that since this question got asked some time back, it's probably
already been answered... However, audacity works great with JAWS, there are
a set of scripts which you can get to add to it's functionallity but,
they're not needed at all, Audacity works great right out of the box. Use it
every day with JAWS for recording & edditing news & traffic reports for
radio as well as podcasting.

As far as I know it is. I have used Audacity with NVDA and Window-Eyes
so I would assume Jaws would work equally as well with it.
