Thanks Ryan, the reason I go for the mp5 is because 1 it holds the most
rounds for a weapon on m1, and 2, when I'm using it on burst fire mode, I
can spin around and hopefully moe down more than 1 zombie at a time. With
the glock, there's not that quick rappid fire thing, and I find the slower a
weapon is, the more likely I am to die.
I have however put 35 points worth into my ax so far, and it does seem to
deal more of a blow to zombies now. I can't afford a vulcan yet, but that's
my main goal. :) I love taking out more than 1 zombie at a time, and pluss
there's no way I'd ever do a 50 water without one lol.
Tc from Lori.

lori, this is all just my personal opinion but here goes
don't put points in both streaker and armor, that's sort of pointless
because if you have armor on at all then streaker becomes completely
useless
don't bother buying an MP5 unless you can spare the rep, its too loud
in swarms and it'll get the whole swarm following you
if you go on a mission and get back, spend most of the rep on medkits,
that way you can safely loot and sell the things you find
if you're desperate for rep, do quests
this is what I did to get back on my feet in the game, currently at
18K rep without a single death and almost all of the weapons
granted I'm only at level 60, but I hope some of these will work for you too

lori why not just reset and put all your points in the axe, everyone
is in the same boat and they are all doing fine. i was stuck on map 4
and although my speed helped i had to just find some armor so i could
begin gaining rep again, got about 26 k now and have just the vulcan
and ak47 as weapons all other weapons i find i donated to get more rep
and buy more medds and 7,62 ammo. so if you are un happy put 100
points and max speed and sneak until you level again so you can have
the points where you want them again. its not rocket science lol

I have speed and sneaking maxed out as well as points in streeker and
armor,
but my rep is still very low. I go on 10 crate missions, then when I
come
back I buy as much ammo as I can for my glock as well as an mp5, leather
jacket and ball cap, and that's pretty much all that rep gone, so when I
run
out of ammo I'm back to square 1.
I just think it seems pretty drastic to take away all our rep just for an
item loss bug. It's also very sad the whole game comunity has to suffer
because of all those hackers and cheaters out there.

if you want to survive with the axe, there is a way of doing it
there's a certain way to backpetal while swinging so that you can keep
hitting the zombie, but it can't hit you
it requires a lot of timing, but its doable
another option for you is resetting and putting points in to speed
and sneaking to max both, then putting points in to the glock and
possibly health and armor
or get enough rep to buy yourself a silencer and kill using that until
you can find loot to sell to get more rep
also on the issue of rep, this is why even a whole day after the new
version came out I still haven't joined a mission, so I can get back
up to a decent amount of rep through killing and selling loot

Hi everyone, I just upgraded Swamp to the latest version and I can’t
believe
how much harder it is, especially to lose all our rep at such a high
level
and to only have a stupid ax to fight with. I used the rep I had to go
on
missions, but after some symbles person kicked me from one, and dying on
another, I only had enough rep to buy back some ammo for my glock. When
I
think of all the hard effort I and other players have put into building
up
our rep over the last 2 years, I feel as though getting this far has
been
a
complete let down now I only have an ax. It’s like hc mode, and has
taken
all the fun out of the game. I’m over 200 in levels, 1 hit gives me
bloody
clothes, and when I run out of ammo, and try to use my ax, I die in
about
2
seconds. So my question to you and aprone is, how am I meant to survive
if
I keep on dying and don’t have enough rep to get better weapons or even
ammo
for my glock? I’m on map 2 right now, and can’t even make it back to
map
1
alive.
It’s such a shame this has happened, especially as I was looking forward
to
playing the game non-stop over the holidays. What do other people think
to
the changes? Oh and while I remember, if anyone has any tips on
surviving
with only an ax, and avoiding bloody clothes, could they please let me
know.
Many thanks from Lori.
