I don't know what you mean about "still being more actively developed"

New stuff has been added every six months or so, from new scenes to updates to work on newer os.

Unfortunately, the pc version is now impossible for the developers to update sinse the code used for the user interface was built in a rather old system, and they'd essentially have to completely rewrite the pc version in order to update it. It took them close to two years to do this for Ios, and they said that was easier due to the fact that ios development for user interface is more streight forward.

Also, remember that even if they did! update the pc version ods are you couldn't play it with a screen reader due to the text issue, indeed they've stated an android port may be possible in the future but whether it will be playable or not is another question, particularly sinse a lot of the Ios accessibility involves voiceover's ability to speak hints on controls and buttons, thus letting developers add extra vo information to graphical controls.
