Hi Dark! Sorry for the delay. It's been a busy week. :)
Thomas has pretty much covered everything. Thank you Thomas! I'll just add that Sebby, one of the original devs of Audio Quake who is also a part of the AGRIP project is here on this list so perhaps he will chime in. Matthew, Sebby and others (myself included) are currently working on Audio quake for multiple platforms (Mac included) in a number of ways so this project is still in active development. As for Jedi Quake, though I've personally not been developing it for a while now, I believe someone else has done at least a little bit more with it since I last worked with it. I unfortunately have no actual info on that though. So at this point it's basically rumor. :) Thomas has shared the link to the latest original version created by me. So there you go. :) There will definitely be more info on AQ and JQ when more info is available. So please stay tuned! Thanks so much for your interest in keeping the word on Audio Quake and Jedi Quake out there so people still know they exist! It means a lot! :) Have a great weekend!!! I apologize for sending this via the list but I unfortunately don't have Cara's E-mail address to ask her privately. I am updating the audiogames.net db and I came to the entries for both audioquake and agrip (both of which were written a long time ago before I took over maintaining the db). My first question is, is Agrip totally invalidated by Audio quake? the audio quake entry said as much. If Agrip is now contained within audio quake I will remove it's entry from the db, sinse while (as I said to Ishen), I don't want to remove past entries there is no point keeping entries for past versions of the same game, ---- which is why I deleted the Gma solitare entry and replaced it with one for Gma cards. The second question is what are the homepage and download links for audio quake, and indeed for your Jediquake mod if that is still available. I am well aware these are probably not being maintained anymore and won't work on versions of windows past xp, (I can put as much in the platform information), but if the game is still available obviously it's better people know even if they need to run with a virtual machine or whatever. If the game is now completely removed from the net I will simply list both pages license types as unknown as I have for things like the Bsc titles, but obviously that would be a less good option. Hope this makes sense. All the best, Dark. --- Gamers mailing list __ [email protected] If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [email protected].
