Barry ellice, from oneswitch.org.uk, the sort of physical disability version
of audiogamaes.net does much the same, he even uses realspeak tom. I suspect
this is because whatever condition he has comes with speech problems. I also
suspect from the way his podcasts are organized he edits the speech in after
the fact, though I don't know whether he is doing this from recorded text
files or whether he has a more specialized speech system that he is
recording from which uses the same voice.
Either way my point is, this has been done by others and would be more than
acceptable.
