Here are yet another answers.

1. Found a bug with that too--sent some peasants and footman to
battle, three got nailed, and it still said population reached.
Maybe the training queue was paused because of the population limit,
and restarted when some units died, and then stopped again because
they reached the population limit.

2. Maybe the missions should be actually v.o's in the final release.
Maybe have a peasant or someone tell you what to do instead of speech
output?
Yes, in the mission maps (and in any map after all) it should be
possible to include some prerecorded cinematic audio scenes (i.e. a
wav file) with briefings or messengers with alarming news.

3. What about races, ships, demolition, different voices?
Yes, absolutely!
I would prefer 3 very different races like in Starcraft than 2 similar
races like in Warcraft 1 and 2.
The different units voices are particularly important!

4. Better sound effects.
Yes. For the moment I don't know exactly how, but it will be ok.

5.  I would reallly like to see a chat feature added so games could be
coordinated before starting, or at least a game note detailing what
map is to be played and how many players are wanted.
For the chat you can use for example Skype. For the game note, I can
add that when a player is invited to a game or has registered and is
waiting for the game to start.

6. Start a multiplayer game giving the IP of the server.
Yes, I will add this useful alternative to the metaserver.
