Hi Ari,
Yeah, that is something I'd like to know the answer to as well. It would 
be interesting to have some statistical data in place to actually flush 
out which games are popular, which are not doing as well in sales, and 
what price range is comfortable for most gamers.
Though, I agree with you that a poor demo experience can negatively 
effect a decision to purchase a game. For example, a game that can only 
be played for one hour before it has to be registered would not allow 
the player to really know the game, practice, or even really know what 
the game is like. As a result sales could suffer for the fact the demo 
version didn't offer enough insight into the game.
