Hi Daniel, Yeah, I understand what you are saying, but I also see the developers side of this as well. Giving a user a full game for seven days potentially puts the game at high risk of being hacked. What if a cracker figures how to get passed the seven day restriction, or uses some sort of roll back reinstalls the game and continues for another seven days, etc. Timed demos are generally secure from the average Joe, but it is not invincible to cracker attacks. That is why developers generally include some other restrictions such as block the gamer from saving and restoring games, perhaps remove an item needed to complete the demo, restric them to only a few levels, etc... In short they need some other assurance that the demo won't be easy to compromise.
