Well maybe there could be whetting stones or whatever that you could find 
and use to restore your dulled blades. That way you wouldn't just have to 
collect new swords. I mean realistically a warrior's going to have a means 
of sharpening his weapon. He might have a backup option in case it breaks 
but he's probably not going to be carrying around multiple swords of the 
same type. That would be cumbersome to say the least.
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.
