The difference is that, while the Gobblindoom has a superior MR, the Hale Blade does provide that four extra stamina, plus the possibility of being healed during battle, sometimes for quite a lot of stamina. Gobblindoom does have a rather nice special attack as well as an extra MR boost for Gobblins, but it doesn't provide stamina the way the Hale Blade does.
