Hi Thomas, Yes most people do tend to have an internet connection, but people who are on the move with a laptop using wireless aren't always going to have internet. I have internet now in my current residence, but as I am currently moving from location to location, I could've ordered a game product here, received my key, had to go off in a rush and find that in my new location I have no internet, at which point I'm stuck until I move either back to my previous location or to a new location with internet. Regards, Damien
