Hi,
Probably. The Linux boot loader, Grub, is pretty good about detecting other operating systems and adding them to the Grub boot prompt and allowing you to select between Linux or the pre-existing operating system on the computer. I figure since the XBox OS is basically a Windows Mobile os Linux wouldn't have a problem ddetecting it as a Windows variant and loading it via Grub if needed.

If I remember correctly you could install linux on a Xbox and still switch
to playing xbox games. I think you had a boot screen at the start up.
Problem was, you had to get a mod chip and then find the flash for the chip
and software to make it all work. At the time the Xbox came out I was
already out of the Video Game biz. I used to Mod PS1's and other systems
for people. To be able to play out of state games and other things.

I have every system that was made since Atari up to the 360, only system I
don't have, and will not buy is the PS3. I love playing my Neo Geo. Street
Fighter rocks.

Matt.
